A processing facility fed with mixed waste produces very little of value and a great deal of reject. The economics of waste management are set at the point of collection, which is why our collection work is built around keeping wet and dry streams separate rather than simply clearing bins. On the legacy side, biomining reclaims land that a municipality already owns and is otherwise unable to use.
