Working with municipalities.

Municipalities sit between the corporations and the town panchayats. There is an engineering section, but it is small, and most schemes arrive through a state programme with a sanction condition attached. Documentation support matters as much as execution.

How this body works

What is different about municipalities.

Scope, documentation and supervision are set up around these four things rather than around one format applied to every client.

01

The engineering section is small

One or two engineers are running water supply, drainage, roads and solid waste at once. A contractor who needs supervision to function is a burden rather than a resource.

02

Schemes arrive with conditions

AMRUT, Swachh Bharat and state programmes each carry their own reporting and completion conditions. Missing them holds up the release, not just the certificate.

03

Budgets are recurring and tight

What matters is what the body can sustain after handover. We scope against the operating budget rather than the sanction figure.

04

One partner is easier than five

Consultancy, execution, operation and manpower under one contract removes the coordination load from an already stretched section.

Divisions that apply

Where this usually starts.

These are the divisions a municipalitie most often engages. The others are available under the same contract.

Questions from bodies like yours

Can you prepare the DPR and then execute the same work?
We can do either. Where a body wants them separated for procurement reasons, we are happy to do the documentation alone and hand it over, or to bid execution against someone else's DPR.
Do you work on AMRUT and Swachh Bharat funded schemes?
Yes. Those programmes carry specific documentation and reporting conditions, and the paperwork is planned into the programme rather than assembled at completion.

Procuring for a municipalitie?

Tell us the town, the scope and the stage it has reached. We will come back with a practical approach and a realistic cost.
